adopted as standard. We are proposing to do this when
we have received, what we know at present to be, the final
design of the shock absorber.

My oersonal opinion is that there is no nec-
essity to rush these shock absorbers on to the chassis.
I believe that when with the springs anchored under the
axle, they made a tremendous imrpovement but with the
springs above the axle, one does not feel, when riding
those-cars, the necessity of the shock absorbers.

I should recommend a set were fitted to Mr. Hanbury's
Car and perhaps Mr. Northey's, but it would not be wise to rush
these expensive pieces on to all chassis until we know their
true value.
