RECEIVED We must apologise for delay in acknowledging your esteemed order for two dozen AC plugs which is due to the fact that we do not make a detachable carbon proof plug of a type which we think will suit you, and the matter has, therefore, been held up pending the return of the writer from the recent Motor Show in London. Previously we have supplied you with our non-detachable carbon proof plug, namely, 18 C.P.T. (Metric Carbon Proof Type) and unless you have been using this for some special purpose, or for an engine which is extremely oily, we do not recommend its use as the carbon proof corrugated insulator is only used on the Ford plug. We have a detachable type of plug, namely, our B-11 which is made with either single or three firing points, and on our Managing Director's 20 H.P. Rolls-Royce car either type gives perfect running results. We think the matter is worth discussion, and shall be glad if you will kindly name a convenient date when the undersigned will come up to see you, and will bring with him samples of both types, and possibly we could send to you 12 of each in execution of your order as above, namely, 12 B-11 single point and 12.
