BRUSHES MADE BY BRITISH CARBONS LIMITED - STARTER MOTOR AND DYNAMO.

--------------------------------------------------

Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/AD.12.9.32. whilst I agree that your experience appears to indicate that British Carbons Limited have been able to supply us with brushes to meet our requirements, I think before we move further we should order enough brushes from them to fit up the whole of the experimental cars and get a fair experience by this means before committing ourselves to a change, which could easily land us in serious difficulties.

The alternative, of course, is to issue a standardisation sheet, based upon the information already acquired, which in my opinion is not at the moment sufficiently wide to ensure the change being made without trouble resulting.
