1110 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}4/MH.{M. Huckerby} 23rd. December 1937. Messrs. Borg & Beck Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa. Dear Sirs, Re Phantom III Clutch. With reference to the 12 1/2" cross cushioned plate which you have recently supplied to us, we should be glad to know if you have a record of the cushioning under a load of about 1900 lbs. We are just putting these on a car but we have not taken a test to measure the cushioning and we should be glad if you could kindly give us an approximation of this figure. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE. | ||
