Chassis Dynamo Programme.
It is proposed to replace dynamo 161, (8GI engine) with our experimental machine E, & use it for obtaining the curves instructed in EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T.17-8-23. It can then be put on 4GI chassis, in a standard condition for output ✓ tests on the road.
Dynamo B, which this will replace may then have its main brushes retarded to the up-to-date position, and be fitted with experimental brushes or springs (say heavier springs) and sent for 8GI engine in return for dynamo E, as it is an old machine. 13GI temporarily.
E may then be exchanged for R3 on 3GII so that the latter can be investigated for the cause of its
