X673 In connection with the suggestion that the experimental brushes of standard size that we have, might be cut down for test on the N.B. type dynamo, most of these brushes are fitted with the collar type connection and there appears to be no reason why these should not be used. Brushes suitable are :- Main. Control. EG.30 EG.60 X. EG.3399 It is unfortunate that brushes of the LFC.3A.B8 grade, some of which we have and which gave good results on the standard machine, have the riveted type of connection which would probably be damaged in cutting them down.
