| To HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} c. to RC {R. Childs} /CAP. 6021. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /RC. {R. Childs} 6/JH.23.5.38. SPECIAL BATTERY BOX ON CAR 22.G.V. We find that it is necessary for the special battery box which is lined with ebonite, and fitted on car 22.G.V. to be removed for examination. This car is at present in the Transport Dept. but it is agreed that the battery box can be changed. IF the work could be done during the night, Transport are prepared to bring the car into the Exptl.
