ALUMINIUM BRAKE DRUMS.
We should like to know the cost of making the brake drum liner GB.2404 in carbon steel, formed from a flat strip by welding, quenched and tempered to give the correct Brinell figure.
Your cost of the liner in iron is 12/-.
As the welded steel liner described above has given satisfaction, we would like to know if it is any cheaper to produce.
