X1325 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} 8/JH. 3rd October, 1936. Your ref. WGR/AMH. The British Weaver Manufacturing Co.Ltd., 10, Paul Street, LONDON. E.C.8. Dear Sirs, We return herewith the two pamphlets lent to us by Mr. Lund on the occasion of his visit to this Works. As regards your kind suggestion that we might try one of your Weaver units at our Works here at Derby, we would be glad to do so, but it must be on the distinct understanding that if we are not satisfied with it, or if after trying it we do not think the information gained is sufficiently valuable to make it worth while for us to purchase such a unit we may return it without having obligated ourselves in any way. We have just laid down a concrete skid pan similar to those used in the States and your tester could be conveniently installed in the centre of this. Any date is convenient to us. Trusting to hear further from you. We are, Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
