Please receive herewith two Blue Prints of each of the following drawings detailed in accordance with BY's instructions and also at request of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} per memo' Ha/Fml/MJ.25.2.30. which accompanied Firths' Drawing No:22.-

F.82033 Sheet 1. Front Road Spring.
F.82033 Sheet 2. Front Road Spring Lubrication drawing.

SEC:7030.-
F.82032 Rear Road Spring Lubrication drawing.

Will you please instruct up as required for the Experiment.

The Drawing F.82032 only shows the machining of the Lubrication Grooves as applied to the Springs already delivered to Firths' Drawing No:22.

For the Front Road Spring F.82033 we have shown on Sheet 1. the following modifications to the Spring already delivered to Firths' Drawing No: 22.-

(1) Thickness at ends of Leaves specified as .050.
(2) Length of tapering at end of Leaves increased to 4.000.
(3) Width of Spring Clips and Caps reduced to .750.
(4) Clips and Caps shown in position half way along tapered ends of Leaves.
(5) Rivets for holding Caps to Leaves reduced from .250 to .1875 Dia:

Sheet 2. of F.82033 shows the lubrication as applied to the revised spring.
