-2- The only obvious defect was a sticky gear change, but this should not prevent the car going South. It should hold the road reasonably well when increased shock-damper loading has been fitted. I had not a chance to try this, as we did not get hold of the car until a few moments before I had to leave to catch my train. I ran the car up to 78 M.P.H. The engine appeared less rough at high speeds than the other cars, possibly it had the new slipper wheel. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
