X4704 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} F.{Mr Friese} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Dd. Hdy.{William Hardy} C&Ex. re Vulture. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E24.1.34 Thanks for Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/MJ.23.1.34 relative to the above car. Very glad to hear that the performance is so good and the acceleration probably far and away better than any other car we know of. It will certainly be interesting to know what caused the second speed synchromesh to fail to work until after it had been severely used. I note that you expect to be able to bring the car to London in about 10 days' time and, if you will notify me in advance, we will make a rendezvous as in former cases. Sg.{Arthur F.
