RR 238 (150 BKS.) (BH57. 29-6-20.) MP 224388 X. 4383 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E.F.C. 8 Sept. 1924. Order No. AB. 22. Customer's No. X.4383. Dynamo C (20hp) from 6 Ex. This machine was last removed from the car in May 1923, when it was inspected, tested and replaced. It has now been removed for further inspection. The insulation is sound except for a small leakage through carbon dust on the positive brush. The brushes are unbevelled and the commutator is undercut by hand. Brush wear does not appear to have been great and the contact faces and the commutator surface were fairly well polished as received, but the positive brush blackened, and the commutator segments became darker on the trailing sides, when the machine was run. Signed (Cont'd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
