Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of W.A.Robotham, Esq.,

We have to thank you for your letter of the 15th inst., Ref.Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 3/M.J., and have pleasure in informing you that our Triple Shell Motor Oil corresponds to the three proprietary oils mentioned in your second paragraph, namely Price's Motorine C, Wakefield's Castrol - we note you say Castrol R, but as this is a purely racing lubricant consisting of some 95% castor oil, we presume this should read Castrol XL which is their grade equivalent to the competitive oils you mention - and Mobiloil BB.

We also attach Triple Shell specification, and assure you that we shall have great pleasure in giving you any further information you may require.

Triple Shell is, of course, obtainable from any dealer or garage, but we shall be happy, if you wish, to make deliveries in any quantity you may require from our Derby depot, and as we understand the oil is for experimental purposes we would be prepared to supply it free of charge.

Yours faithfully,
FOR SHELL-MEX LIMITED
