WINDSCREEN GLASS-CUTTING TOOL
Tool for cutting hole in windscreen glass. Price 25/-
In order to facilitate the fitting of our Spotlight “COB” we have manu-factured a special tool that can be operated by means of a portable electric drill or by the ordinary hand brace. It carries a brass cutter, is clamped on the windscreen glass and carborundum powder with twice the quantity of water is inserted through the filling plug. An adequate charge of carborundum is supplied in a round cardboard tube with each Spotlight and the tube serves as measure for the water. With electric power the hole will be neatly cut in about three minutes; 20 minutes if hand power be applied. Immediately the glass is cut the water will run from the instrument and provisions should be made to catch it at the end of the little drain tube fitted to one side of it.
