"SS{S. Smith}" Type

BJD/22.5.28

It has now been decided to push forward during the next twelve months the completion of the few experimental super-sports chassis, as we have heard that a few of our customers would like some of these if we can build them specially.

It is as well for these not to be spoken about too much as it might induce incorrect rumours or get confused with our standard chassis in the minds of the public.

As we do not know when or whether we shall put this super-sports model on the market, it is no use talking about it yet, either to our agents or customers. In fact, it is better for it to be kept to ourselves.

It will always be referred to as the "SS{S. Smith}" or Super-Sports Model.

All correspondence concerning this should be marked "Secret".

BJ.
