Experimental Test Report. The scheme of cutting out the excess reservoirs on the axle and in the pivot overcomes the complaint received of oil draining down the pivots on to the tyres. Road Test Report. The scheme was fitted to 18.G.IV. and ran in France for 5000 miles. The results were satisfactory the amount of oil escaping was cut down by 50%. X No. 5420. Drawing No. Part Expl.
