Messrs. Ferodo Ltd. We are very anxious to obtain some belts to the particulars given on attached [s]print - this again is a standard British Goodrich belt, mould No. 236.[/s] We would like to know whether you can make us up a number of these belts (say 6) and what the earliest delivery is that you could give us for them. If you will advise us as to what is required we will send you an official order for the work involved. In view of the satisfactory results on the belts already sent us, we are most anxious to get these belts to EW.1518 as soon as possible. Will you please advise us on the two queries we have raised above (i.e. EW.1518 belts and mould alteration for longer belt of the type already supplied) at your earliest possible convenience. We would also like to know when you expect to be in production with fan belts if your are now in a position to let us know this. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
