Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW7.12.35 & Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}35/KW25.11.35 ------- We have noted contents of your memos. and agree that in some cases of exceptionally heavy use by certain types of driver it might be advisable to fit a more up-to-date clutch, rather than continually re-line. We cannot, however, quite understand your reference to the Borg & Beck clutch as being the solution at the moment, inasmuch as I understand that this has not yet been standardised, and of course, we could not fit a non-standard article on to an existing car. As soon as this is standardised (if it is) then we could consider your suggestion in special circumstances. C. | ||
