appears to be ample. No fractures of the leaves are observable.

FRONT AXLE NS.{Norman Scott}3821. GL.{G. Linnett} 686 AND FRONT AXLE CONTROL RR.Sch.411 - 469.

The anchorage of the front axle to the road springs has remained firm. No weakness has shown. Pivots do not show any wear. The lubrication has been ample. The axle control became slack in the ball joints on NS.{Norman Scott} and OS. which caused, in conjunction with the flexible mounting of the engine, tramping of the axle to take place after sharp braking at speed. The looseness also caused staggering of the brakes. The lubricating hole in the rear pad of the NS.{Norman Scott} had become blocked up with swarth.

FRONT ROAD SPRINGS LOP. F.85195.

Firth's Low Rated.
Piece N° F.83318
Type 1,200 lbs.
Initial Camber 4.47"
Loaded length 45"

The front road springs, from an outside examination, do not show any signs of fracture. Anchorage to axle has remained firm. The lubrication of the spring shackles appears to be ample.

PETROL TANK LOP. F.88553. NS.{Norman Scott}3922 - 3924. COMPLETE TO THE ABOVE LOP. AND SCHEME INCORPORATING SEALED FILLER. SEPARATE VENT.

There have been no petrol fumes in the body and no trouble in filling the tank. We have not noticed any spilling during the runs. The electric unit in the tank has not worked correctly throughout the mileage, it is a mechanical fault. The teeth of the gearing mechanism, not being correctly set in the first place, caused wear, with the result that the teeth jammed. The electric wires for the connections in the top of the instrument should be spaced, as apparently the petrol fumes destroys the rubber insulation. The petrol tank and fittings have given no trouble.

EXHAUST SYSTEM. LOP. E.84698. LEC. 3759.

The scheme as fitted, has given no trouble, with the exception of the snout anchorage. This has worked loose and caused a rattle. There has been a slight exhaust boom at 30 to 35 MPH.

SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIERS. LOP. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 73947.

The side wheels vibrated considerably. The stiffening bracket in the frame, for the support of the main bracket, has cracked and broken through the top bolt hole and cracked down the right angled bend. The bolts came loose in the frame and in the vertical stay on both carriers. The bolts holding the dashboard to the frame also became loose.
