Dear Roy{Sir Henry Royce},

I rang you up this afternoon re my Father's Bentley, (B.27 CW). You were in the works, so I had a word with Harry.

You will remember that my mother has complained that the springing is too harsh for her to travel in comfort at slow speeds, they never go fast. I think you said the only thing to do would be to change the springs to make it ride really softly.

My Mother says the Rover 14 is exactly right.

Will you have to make a charge for changing the springs? When you have the car you might have it looked over generally. It was at the works in August last but has not done much mileage since. I have arranged to send the car down on March 10th.

I expect we shall see you again when the golf season starts. There will be a Captain's versus Vice-Captain's match on March 26th.

Yours ever,

Robert
