Dear Sirs, We are much obliged by your letter dated 19th December which we received to-day. We have examined the drawing that you have sent us, and we would propose "F E S C O L"-izing the portion indicated, namely AA{D. Abbot-Anderson} to BB in Nickel on the same lines as that which we carry out for Aircraft Exhaust Collectors and Manifolds. It is rather difficult for us to give a price on a production basis until we have had an opportunity of trying at least one, and we estimate the price at being about 15/- for this work, and think we shall be able to keep somewhere near this figure for a quantity basis. We note that you propose sending us shortly portions of the Exhaust System for "F E S C O L"-izing so that you may test the efficacy of the treatment after lagging, and we shall be glad to have these parts at your convenience.
