| r209 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.5/HP.3.7.33. re Powerplus Superchargers. We are sending you separately a letter from Messrs. Powerplus of the 1st inst. showing copies of their latest addition of fitting and maintenance instructions. You will observe they have dropped the recommendation to mix oil with the petrol for touring purposes on their superchargers, but retaining same when the blowers are used for racing purposes. We should be glad to know if you have had an acknowledgment from Superchargers Limited. of the receipt of the blower sent to them a week ago as nothing of this nature has reached us. In the meantime if you are in agreement to have our remaining No.10. supercharger fitted with one of the new type oil pumps as mentioned in the last paragraph of their letter f.o.c. we will have this returned to them as it is at present in this office.
