Please receive herewith one blue print of the following :- G.77772. Flywheel Gear Ring. 1 off per set. It has been necessary to produce this piece as under Alteration No. 14015/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} we changed the material of the Flywheel Gear Ring G.77304. from Firth's A.H.G. Steel to S/ZNCR. Specification 236., as we were instructed under Memo' BY/EM15/N.13.5.29., that Rings in the first mentioned material were unsatisfactory, as they had been found to be defective and had been rejected. Under Memo' BY/EM27/N.23.5.29., we are informed that Firth's have a further quantity of Rings which they believe will be satisfactory when machined. We shall therefore, have Rings in two distinct materials, in consequence of which a different piece number for each of the Rings is essential. This blue print is sent to keep your records up to date.
