DATE IN DEPT. 31.1.35. OWNER'S COMPLAINT. During "incoming" test to verify owner's complaint of "poor performance" a knock developed in engine at 3.700.r.p.m. APPARENT CAUSE OF COMPLAINT. Nos.2 & 4 big ends "out". Nos.2 & 4 Crankpins "damaged". No.6 cylinder "scored". No.6 piston "seized". RECTIFIED BY: Return of complete chassis to W. Repair Dept. as per instructions from Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} REMARKS. Oil level insump O.K. Oil pressure 40lbs sq.inch. Radiator temperature 78. Car brought in by Salvage Van after breakdown.
