(2) Radiator height increased by 1" (area 4%). With regard to further development of our own design of tube. If we are to beat the all round efficiency of the small hexagon, we can hardly hope to get results in a reasonable time without a wind tunnel. We have been into the cost of fitting up a wind tunnel which would give us what we want and this appears to be somewhat formidable apart from the research staff necessary to run it intelligently. We can get no outside wind tunnel to take on the job, they have too much work on their own to take any interest in the matter. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
