Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter of the 8th instant reference ZK/RR. We note your remarks and are looking into the question of running CM5H with a lower spring pressure.

Regarding your grades CM6 and CM8121 we have instructed our Order Office to order a small quantity in these grades for immediate test, and we hope you will do everything possible at your end to expedite these brushes to us in view of the urgency of this special machine we are developing.

We note Mr.Sparkes will be visiting us in the near future, we have some interesting results to discuss with him obtained with brushes of other manufacture.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
