Re:- Accessibility of Bentley Front Seats. ------------------------------------- Although I cannot bring to mind any actual complaints having been recorded on the question of restricted entry on the Bentley, we have on many occasions had people complain of the lack of body space, which is, I think, partly due to the difficult entrance, especially when the person is more than average size. Incidentally, we always make a point of sliding the front seats back as far as possible, so as to make the entrance as easy as possible. There is no question that an improvement here would be beneficial, in fact I think this would tend to reduce the number of complaints concerning the small amount of body space available. It has occurred to me on many occasions that if the running boards could be reduced in width this would help towards making an easy entrance. The running boards on the Bentley are of little use either for entrance or exit, and only tend to make one's trousers dirty. I therefore hope you will be able to make some improvements in this direction. My 14 h.p. Rover is certainly most comfortable to enter and has more legroom in the front than the Bentley. Bly{B. W.
