To overcome vibrations and improve design. Drawing No. Part List Experimental Test Report. This crankshaft is approx. 50% stiffer than present standard and has larger bearing areas. The pin size has been increased from 1.5" to 1.75" and journal size from 2.000" to 2.125". Road Test Report. Run 12,000 miles on 14-G4. Run 7,800 miles on 12-G4. A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
