I am in receipt of Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 2/R7.1.38. The actual people who referred to this matter at the meeting were Major Grigg of the Car Mart amd Mr.Sclater-Booth of Hoopers. The latter sold his car in the summer.

With regard to Major Grigg, we have been in touch with him and apparently since he made the remark his car has been to N. and is now quite satisfactory. AXXXX Evidently something was definitely wrong.

With regard to the last paragraph of your memo., if you can have the information re scrap available for Monday's meeting, a decision can doubtless be taken.
