EAC.II STARTER MOTORS A, C & G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp}

A.{Mr Adams} This motor originally had the teazer and main windings wound to D.70608 (winding side by side). Teazer winding was 18 SWG. On 30.1.25 we received this motor from the shop with the windings changed - the main winding nearer the air gap and teazer winding of 17 SWG nearer the carcase. No. of turns on teazer is 30.

C. This motor is similar to A (second arrangement) as regards the disposition of the windings, but the number of turns on the teazer windings may not be the same. 33

G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} This motor has reduced cross section of field core and reduced depth of armature slot, and correspondingly increased resistance of armature winding. The number of turns on the teazer is 36.
