Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
LONDON, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. C.W.Nichols:

Dear Sirs,

Ph.III Hydraulic Jacks.

We attach herewith drawing LeC.4449, showing the various ground clearances of the Ph.III chassis.

The front suspension arms clearance of which you are enquiring, located on the front pan, have a normal ground clearance of 9.550" decreasing to 9.000" on the pivot arm.

We have asked our Mr. Archer to make arrangements for you to inspect one of our Demonstration cars at Lillie Hall. This will enable you to find the correct pipe line positions, etc.

Trusting these are the figures you require.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
