GOSFORK I - BRAKE GEAR - N Y/62
Kindly vet the following remarks Mr Royce wishes on a pencil confirming the above :-
1) The uncentralized diagonal should be used with the brake lever nearer the centre of the car as proposed.
2) The brake levers should be jointed & brought together not forged & clamped.
3) The interior spindle may be parallelled when it passes through the channel near the brake lever. The distance piece should be a simple piece of taper tubing in steel without flanges.
4) Plain pins should be used for the brake forks.
5) That pin that the pedimentally is not taken a full tramp by striking the brake less parallel.
