To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gy. X3806 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gy1/LG23. 5. 29. The 10,000 miles test in France and our own experiments have revealed the necessity for increasing the size of drip plugs on the S.S. J.2. series in the following cases : Rear end of starter motor increased from S.OO to S.O. Rear shock dampers increased from S.O. to S.1. Servo increased from S.O. to S.1. We are sending you through a revised list of drip plugs necessary for these chassis but since the question arising of ordering additional drip plugs, demanded by the alterations, we have deemed it wise to advise you quickly.
