If any starvation takes place in the system it should be located. We suspect that the non-return valve in the delivery line to the autovac may cause trouble and this should be tried the right way up and inverted. Also the porous pot filter may be replaced by the plate element in case of shortage and if this persists the filter element may be removed completely. STEERING. Wider Track 19" American, 20" Dunlop, 20"/Dunlop to be compared for joggles and selectivity at 30, 35 and 40 lbs/sq.in. pressure, rear tyres 35 lbs/sq.in. Standard 20" wheels and tyres to be tried with dumbell across the front of the car at 35, 40 and 45 lbs/sq.in. and selectivity and joggles recorded. Tyre pressure to be checked when thoroughly warm.
