X6032 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.12/KT. Oct. 7th, 1932. Messrs Joseph Lucas Ltd, Great Kings Street, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, Lucas High Frequency Electric Horn. We consider the weight of these horns rather excessive for the relative amount of work they have to do on the car. This is more especially the case where the dual arrangement is in operation, such as we are proposing to standardise on our 40/50 HP. cars. We should be glad, therefore, if you could submit proposals for lightening these horns as we are studying the question of the weight of the car very critically, and are desirous of cutting down the weight of all the accessories as much as possible. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
