X.2937 With reference to the cam you are making for chassis 7 CA, I mentioned in the instructions that we should like the value of the great acceleration to be .0035. Taking into account the fact that we are increasing the size of the roller, as shown on the LeC. drawing sent to you, we now think that this acceleration could be pushed up in the neighbourhood of .005" per division per division, and yet allow us to use a grinding wheel of reasonable diameter, say 1.9 wearing down to 1.750. Would you please put this into operation. We would like to receive a return blueprint of the drawing we sent you showing 7 CA cam mechanism, as soon as possible.
