Lidsey} to carry luggage can be supplied". We consider that the lid{A. J. Lidsey} to open at 45° to vertical to give access to luggage without it being used as and when desired as a platform would be a very undesirable arrangement and rather wasting an opportunity. Apart from that we think it would be useful to get experience of it as a platform and to give the experimental cars an opportunity of using it as such, and testing the behaviour of the car when this platform is fully loaded. One final point for consideration is whether it is not wise to adopt the electrically operated rear blind, in which case Park Ward & Co should of course be informed. Will you please return this drawing with your reply, it being the only record we have of your proposal. Drawing P.D.20. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
