PEREGRINE RADIATOR - RE USE OF HOT DIXSTAMPO FORGINGS.

Referring to Sft.{Mr Swift}1/DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom}6.1.33. with the exception of the matrix frame W.100396, which is a pressing in 16 gauge material at present, and would be a cumbersome thing made as a hot stamping, since its weight would be 100% increased, I would agree to the general scheme i/e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} side frames E.100222/3 and bottom tank E.100221 being made in this manner.

In the case of the bottom tank, we would run plain webs across for stiffeners instead of the 'T' section, the bosses could also be tapered to meet requirements.

Whilst agreeing in principle with your requirements for the three pieces, it is not expedient at the moment to actually order the stampings, as I believe Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is considering reducing the depth of the matrix in order to give us a lighter radiator and cheaper.
