-2- Contd. a distribution fuse holder can be put in the main fuse clips in which case there is then a fuse of only 30 amperes capacity. We consider that in making this change we have given an additional element of danger to a system, the dangers of which are already well known. It occurs to us that fuses may sometimes be pulled out of their clips when the engine is running and dynamo charging in order to see what portion of the circuit is controlled by each fuse. No harm would result from this in the case of each of the other six fuses, but should this main fuse be removed, the consequences might be serious. In our opinion the old arrangement of this main battery fuse should be retained. EFC. | ||
