X4400 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 6/LG1.7.21. 1st. July 1921. Messrs. Benton & Stone Ltd., Bracebridge Street, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Eric Milner. We have fitted the Lubricators you left with us yesterday on to one of our latest 40/50 H.P. chassis. In fitting these up, we did not agree with the blueprint which you kindly left us. We consider that for the present 40/50 chassis we require:- 23 No.1 Lubricators. 2 No.2 " 5 No.6 " 2 No.7 " In order to complete the lubricators on a car would you kindly supply us with 4 more No.1 and 1 more No.6 lubricators. There are some lubricators which you have left which we cannot get to fit on a Rolls-Royce Car at all. We should be pleased if you would let us know where you obtained particulars of the lubricators necessary. We are returning to you 2 No.1 lubricators which broke in the thread when they were being screwed in position. We would like to recommend that the holes are made smaller. We consider that with the very high pressure we can get with the grease gun, it is not necessary to have very large passages contd:- | ||
