For the attention of Mr. Robotham.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

re: Records Claim by G.E.T. Eyston.

With reference to the above, I am given to understand that the car in question has been sent to your Works for the purpose of removing the engine preparatory to dismantling and measurement.

I, therefore, propose to send one of the Club Engineers to your Works on Friday next, the 21st inst. for the purpose of measuring the bore and stroke. If you will confirm that this will be convenient, I shall be obliged.

As you are aware, it will be necessary to leave the seals on the engine intact until our Representative calls. He will be proceeding from London by train, arriving Derby L.M.S. 11.9 a.m. If you will be so good as to have him met at the Station, I shall be much obliged.

Yours faithfully,

F.P. Armstrong

SECRETARY.
