L.H. SILVER PHANTOM.
(Engine for the first chassis).

The existing engine B.80. No.2 has been allocated for this purpose.

It is proposed only to modify this unit where it can be brought up to date without any major alteration.

It should be completely stripped for inspection, and the following alterations carried out, and new parts fitted.

1. CRANKSHAFT DAMPER.
Fit the new latest Studebaker type.

2. PISTONS.
P.487 Aerolite (CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will supply).

3. VALVES.
Solid exhaust valves EB.5210.

4. INDUCTION PIPE.
RE.176.

5. CARBURETTOR.
AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}25 Stromberg (CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will supply).

6. FLYWHEEL & CLUTCH.
Now required to suit Lucas Starter Motor.

7. STARTER MOTOR.
Lucas type M.25.G. (Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs} to supply)

Will Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH please issue a revised specification to enable the above alterations to be carried out. Also, any further alterations necessary to fit this unit into a chassis should be included.

HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH{R. Hollingworth} will issue a complete specification of B.80. No. 2 in its present condition to Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH.
