X.3733 Extract from EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn12/F28.6.21. X.3719 X.3733 Tappet rollers - these have given considerable trouble with wear and noise, as already reported. Roller pins in rockers now being pushed in to ensure no movement at this point. Inspection has shown that if these pins move at all they soon wear rapidly in preference to wearing on the roller bore, andbecome noisy.
