Tappet rollers - these have given considerable trouble with wear and noise, as already reported. Roller pins in rockers now being pushed in to ensure no movement at this point. Inspection has shown that if these pins move at all they soon wear rapidly in preference to wearing on the roller bore, andbecome noisy. I believe from what I have seen here and at Derby that the pins should be fitted so that no turning movement can take place.
