E.83 Alum Unit.

With reference to the above unit.

STS/EF has stated, that there is 200 hours work necessary to complete the patterns. We were of the opinion therefore, that these patterns should incorporate the necessary modifications to bring the engine up to date.

These modifications have now been issued by our D.O. as follows RR.5079 crankcase and cylinders, with alterations added 114 and 126.
HH REC.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HIL. will issue an amended specification to HFS/ML. for the engine, but in the meantime, the patterns can be proceeded with.
