Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 15th. February, we shall be only too pleased to give you any assistance in our power in connection with the temperature testing of your air-screw blades and hubs. We believe that our Cold Chamber is capable of attaining a temperature of somewhere about 15° below zero, which is equivalent to 47° of frost, but we have not run it down to this temperature. We would be glad to hear from you further as to convenient dates when the tests can be made. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
