Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Lubrication c. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/ML.12.12.40. 1184 DIP-STICK - RATIONALISED ENGINES. You will remember that we queried the accessibility of our crankcase dip-stick, compared with other American and English cars. We should like our dip-sticks to be modified so that they are made of strip steel and have a handle which is more accessible. If you have not the time to deal with this yourself, perhaps you would give Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. a sketch from which he can produce the necessary drawing.
