4967 RP. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY6/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 26.1.25. PRICES' OLEOGENE OIL. ------------------- The above oil is being used instead of "Vacuum" Oil with the object of overcoming the tendency for the cylinders to rust. So far as I am aware, no recommendations are being made generally for customers to use this oil, but no doubt if the question of "squawking" arises, which would undoubtedly be the result of rusted cylinders, the Repair Dept. and possibly Test Dept. might recommend the customer to try Oleogene Oil, which is a pure mineral, with the object of preventing any tendency for corrosion taking place as the result of the usual oil which contains fatty acid, becoming slightly acid.
