To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} To Df. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} To Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Phantom III Car. I was pleased to report at the last Board Meeting the announcement in regard to the P.III model and I was asked to convey to the officials concerned the Board's appreciation of the very excellent work which they have put into the production of the P.III car. It is realised and appreciated that the P.III car is superior to the P.II on nearly every point, especially springing, acceleration, road holding, etc., but at the same time it is, I am sure, realised by all concerned that there is a good deal of work still to be done on the car to make it satisfactory for production and sale to the public.
