THE BRISTOL AEROPLANE COMPANY LTD FILTON HOUSE, BRISTOL, ENG. SIR G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} STANLEY WHITE, BT{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} (MANAGING DIRECTOR.) YOUR REF. OUR REF. ENGINES F/HCM-6. 9th April 1936. W.A.Robotham Esq, Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd, Derby. Dear Robotham, I got my car back on Tuesday, but have only just tried it between my house and the Works. I am going away for three or four days for Easter, and hope I shall find everything in order. Could you give me your honest opinion about the 4¼ litre ? Would it pay me to make a change before the price of my car drops ? I understand that you are dropping the 3½ litre altogether, as soon as you have used up your present stocks. Alternatively, is it possible to have a 4¼ litre engine in my chassis, as I am quite satisfied with the seating capacity and comfort of my body, and I understand Park Wards have now made a really good job of the pillars, etc., and my cracking troubles are over. I should be very grateful if you would let me have your advice on this matter. With kind regards, Yours sincerely, A.H.R.Fedden. | ||
